WATCHESKI — VINTAGE & PRE-OWNED TIMEPIECES
Last updated: 11 October 2026
Watcheski specialises in individually selected vintage and pre-owned timepieces. Every watch is photographed and described with particular attention to its condition, originality and functionality.
Due to the delicate and collectible nature of vintage watches, we strongly recommend that customers carefully review all product descriptions, photographs and specifications before placing an order.
1. Return Policy for Vintage Watches
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase contract within fourteen (14) days, without providing any reason.
The withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you other than the shipping carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform Watcheski of your decision through an unequivocal statement, such as an email or written letter, addressed to:
Watcheski
Email: hello@watcheski.com
Unit 19, 2–4 Exmoor Street
London, W10 6BD
United Kingdom
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for your communication to be sent before the fourteen-day period expires.
Following notification of withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which you communicated your decision.
2. Condition of Returned Goods
Due to the delicate and collectible nature of our timepieces, all returned watches must be handled with appropriate care.
We request that all returns include the original packaging, boxes, documentation, spare links, straps and any accessories supplied with the purchase.
Customers may examine and try on their watch only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality, as would ordinarily be permitted in a physical retail environment.
Any handling exceeding what is reasonably necessary, resulting in diminished value, may give rise to a proportionate deduction from the refund in accordance with applicable law.
Such diminished value may arise from:
-
New scratches, dents or cosmetic damage.
-
Excessive wear or prolonged use.
-
Accidental damage or improper handling.
-
Alterations, modifications or component replacement.
-
Other changes adversely affecting the watch's condition or resale value.
All returned timepieces are subject to inspection against our original photographs, recorded condition prior to shipment, movement images, serial numbers and identifying characteristics.
Where a deduction is applicable, it will reflect the actual reduction in value and will be supported by reasonable evidence.
The absence of original packaging or evidence of reasonable inspection will not, by itself, invalidate a statutory right of withdrawal.
3. Return Shipping & Responsibility
The customer is responsible for arranging and paying the direct cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind withdrawal.
Given the value and nature of our products, we strongly recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery, with adequate compensation, tracking and signature confirmation.
Returned goods must be securely packaged to minimise the risk of damage during transport.
Customers are advised to retain all postage receipts, tracking information and evidence of dispatch.
We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage caused during return shipping.
Please contact Watcheski before returning an item so that we may provide the appropriate return instructions.
This request does not make prior authorisation a condition of exercising a statutory withdrawal right.
Where goods are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise fail to conform to the contract, return costs will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.
4. Reimbursement
Upon exercising a valid right of withdrawal, the customer is entitled to reimbursement in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Watcheski will normally process reimbursement following receipt and inspection of the returned goods.
However, reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after the goods are received by Watcheski or, if earlier, fourteen (14) days after the customer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back.
Refunds will include the purchase price and the original standard delivery charge, subject to any deductions legally permitted for diminished value.
Where an enhanced delivery option was selected instead of a less expensive standard option offered at checkout, reimbursement of the original delivery charge may be limited to the cost of that standard option.
Reimbursement will be made using the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise.
No cancellation or restocking fee will be imposed for the exercise of statutory withdrawal rights.
5. Delivery Inspection & Damage Reporting
Customers are strongly advised to inspect their purchase and accompanying packaging immediately upon delivery.
Any suspected transit damage, missing contents or functional concerns should be reported within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt wherever reasonably possible.
Notifications should be sent to hello@watcheski.com, including the order number, a description of the issue and supporting photographs or videos where available.
All original packaging should be retained where transit damage is suspected.
Reports submitted after this period will be assessed individually. A delay may make it more difficult to determine the cause or timing of damage but does not remove statutory rights or automatically establish customer responsibility.
6. Vintage Condition & Mechanical Performance
All timepieces are supplied in accordance with their individual product descriptions, photographs, disclosed condition and stated functionality.
Customers acknowledge that vintage and pre-owned watches may exhibit characteristics consistent with their age, history and previous use.
Unless expressly specified in the individual listing:
-
Watches are not represented as recently serviced.
-
Original manufacturer's timekeeping tolerances and power reserves are not guaranteed.
-
Service histories may be incomplete or unknown.
-
Age-related cosmetic imperfections and mechanical variations may be present.
-
No additional commercial mechanical warranty is provided.
Known significant defects and functional limitations will be disclosed before purchase.
These provisions do not exclude or restrict the customer's statutory rights in respect of goods that fail to conform to the contract.
7. Water Resistance
All watches supplied by Watcheski must be considered non-waterproof, irrespective of the manufacturer's original water-resistance specifications, case markings or historical ratings.
Watcheski does not guarantee water resistance for any vintage or pre-owned timepiece.
Customers are strongly advised to avoid all contact with water, moisture, steam and excessive humidity, including showering, bathing, swimming and submersion.
The original water-resistant properties of a watch may have deteriorated through age, previous servicing, worn seals or changes to its components.
Watcheski does not provide an additional commercial warranty against water damage.
Damage established to have arisen from water exposure after delivery is not covered by any voluntary warranty. Statutory rights remain unaffected where goods were faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming when supplied.
8. Accidental Damage & Third-Party Interference
Watcheski does not accept responsibility for damage or faults established to have been caused by events occurring after delivery, including accidental impact, misuse, improper handling, water exposure or third-party work.
Should any functional concern arise, customers are encouraged to contact Watcheski before arranging external inspection, modification or repair.
Where reasonably necessary, Watcheski may request an opportunity to inspect the watch or obtain an independent technical assessment.
External repairs or inspection do not automatically invalidate statutory consumer rights.
9. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
Nothing in this policy restricts rights arising under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
Where goods are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise fail to conform to the contract, customers may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction, depending on the circumstances.
Each claim will be assessed with reference to the watch's age, price, disclosed condition, description, the nature and cause of the reported fault, and applicable law.
10. Return Verification & Fraud Prevention
Watcheski maintains records of individual timepieces, which may include serial numbers, identifying characteristics, photographs, condition assessments and records of functionality before dispatch.
Returned watches may be examined against these records to establish their identity and condition.
Any suspected item substitution, deliberate damage, material alteration or fraudulent representation will be investigated, reported and handled in accordance with applicable law.
These measures do not restrict the exercise of legitimate statutory rights.

Where any provision conflicts with mandatory law, the relevant statutory provisions shall prevail.
